I have been buying and selling single family homes to families, investors and individuals on a large scale over the last 15 years. But, one big passion that has grown for me over the years is my desire to educate and help others to make wise investment decisions that will impact every facet of their life…..where they live.
While teaching High School years ago I attended Real Estate
school with the sole purpose of strategically buying “the right” first home so
that my husband and I could start to build wealth.
After working for many firms in the area since 2004 I began to yearn for a more educational approach to the decisions that are needed when making the largest investment most families make- HOME OWNERSHIP. Establishing systems, breaking down the processes and encouraging clients to avoid pitfalls has become my singular focus.
Since I have refined my marketing systems, website interaction and overall educational strategy we have served over 300 clients in the past 6 years alone.

As you know there’s no shortage of real estate brokers in the industry. But I felt there was a gap and the general public hadn’t been served with what they truly needed.
Where all of those “other” brokers have strengths most of them lack the important things such as proven systems to help make the process a pleasure and provide transparency through education. After all, if you are not fully educated on the process of home buying or selling hiring a broker isn’t worth much.
When all is said and done at the end of your transaction you should feel you were protected and that you had all the information you needed to make wise decisions.

Tanya Carlson, BIC of Carlson and Co. Real Estate, draws on her 13 years of teaching public school mathematics, coaching basketball teams, serving on community boards and participating in leadership roles in her community church to maintain a business climate that fosters innovation, genuine care, selflessness and lifelong learning. Tanya strives to clearly define what customers should expect from the industry and to exceed to those expectations using systems. In addition, Tanya takes an individualized approach with each person making sure she meets their needs and protects their interests. She has dedicated her career to serving, educating and protecting her community through her passions of basketball, real estate and people. She and her Husband John and His mother (Granny 92) live in Indian Trail with their 2 girls, their dog named Charlie and two Holland Lops Bunnies Cinnabun and Freddie. The family loves volleyball, basketball, holidays, camping, the beach, shopping, football games, entertaining and serving in their community.
